It was a short work week for most of us as we enjoyed last weekend’s Labor Day.
This weekend our picks include former Canadian teen idol  "Tiffany", all grown up now, with an adult concert tour (see below) The Latin group Mana will be at Toyota Center. Pop country music man Chris Young will be playing The Woodlands, and former controversial, (remember the Playboy interview) music man, John Mayer closes out this weekend's concert performances at Houston's Toyota Center.
     Enjoy the weekend everybody.

Her current album, Pieces of Me, is her 10th studio album and is her best work ever. As a writer and co-producer Tiffany brings us into her world and it’s clear to see her passion and vulnerability on this latest project. Tiffany this weekend at The Hobby Center.

It was 1986 when the pop latin group Mana came about with its first album, Falta Amor released four years later. Mana the Mexican pop rock band from Guadalajara, Jalisco make their way to Houston's Toyota Center.
Maná is considered the most successful Latin American band of all time with over 40 million albums sold worldwide. The group's current line-up consists of vocalist/guitarist Fher Olvera, drummer Alex González, guitarist Sergio Vallín and bassist Juan Calleros.

Country pop star Chris Young makes his way to The Woodlands in his Raised On Country Tour this weekend Saturday, September 7, 2019.
Recently the country music celebrity talked to our U.S. service men and women with a surprise visit to a naval base in San Diego. Young and tour sponsor USAA have prioritized visiting military bases and offering tickets to every service member who wants to see his show, which is exactly what he did in San Diego.
But his visit was about more than just promoting his tour. As Young told Task & Purpose, a digital news and culture publication dedicated to military and veterans issues, his family ties to the military (both his sister and brother-in-law served as Marines), along with friends who serve, have made personally saying "thank you" to U.S. service members "really, really important" to him, no matter where he travels.

Last weekend (Labor Day weekend) John Mayer was in performance in Aspen, CO. at Jazz Aspen Snowmass' Labor Day Experience. This weekend the singer-songwriter, guitarist, and record producer will be in Houston at our Toyota Center.

While in Aspen, Co the Aspen Times.com reported a woman had thrown her bra on stage while he was performing,  The news outlet reported,“One enthusiastic fan (immediately) tossed her bra on stage to signify she was, in fact, there for Mayer. A bemused Mayer looked down at the bra and used the moment to lightly touch on his once controversial and very public past as a sort of tone-deaf sex fiend, and to note his maturing reaction to fan underwear arriving on-stage. Bras, the 41-year-old noted, have a practical purpose: “Now I’m an older and wiser person and I’m thinking, ‘There is someone out there without support.’”
