The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion is transforming into a giant playground for the 23rd Annual Children’s Festival presented by ExxonMobil. This year’s festival which will take place on Saturday, November 10 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, November 11 from noon to 5 p.m.
With performers on multiple stages, character meet and greets, a special toddler area just for the youngest festivalgoers, arts and crafts, hands-on activities and friendly neighborhood adventures located all around the venue, there’s something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

A standup comic who had a breakout role in the sit-com Parks and Recreation, Aziz Ansari has also received wide acclaim for his Netflix program, Master of None, from three years ago.

Sebastian Maniscalco will be at the University of Houston's Cullen Performance Hall this weekend. Earlier this week (Monday 11/5/2018) Maniscalco was on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live.It was two years Maniscalco made his way to the Bayou City in his Why Would You Do That Tour at Houston's Revention Music Center. He told Houston's Free Press reporter, Vic Shuttee, “I always watched Johnny Carson growing up, and [I] was always enthralled when the comedians came on.” “How do they remember all this? How do they nail the timing?”

Nicki Bluhm's will be at Houston's HOB this weekend (Sunday, November 18, 25018) and we can expect to see her perform from her latest, To Rise You Gotta Fall. It came out last June.
To Rise You Gotta Fall is a chronicle of Bluhm’s state of mind following both a divorce and a separation from the only band she had ever known. Said Bluhm, “These songs are quite personal. They are the conversations I never got to have, the words I never had the chance to say, and the catharsis I wouldn’t have survived without.”
