We started May with a government (release) announcement that "Loneliness and Isolation" in the United States has reached epidemic proportions.
“Our epidemic of loneliness and isolation has been an underappreciated public health crisis that has harmed individual and societal health. Our relationships are a source of healing and well-being hiding in plain sight – one that can help us live healthier, more fulfilled, and more productive lives,” said U.S. Surgeon General Dr. 
Vivek Murthy. “Given the significant health consequences of loneliness and isolation, we must prioritize building social connection the same way we have prioritized other critical public health issues such as tobacco, obesity, and substance use disorders. Together, we can build a country that’s healthier, more resilient, less lonely, and more connected.” says United States Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy.
WOW! How is that so with the explosion of social media in the last 20 years? Are we not connected through that media? Perhaps to much?
Nevertheless with that news, this weekend its Happy Birthday Miller Outdoor Theatre! They're turning 100 what they call, magical years old and want to celebrate with you! Each of the three acts in this full-length ballet embody their namesake jewel through the unique musical stylings of their corresponding composer. The French-evocative Emeralds set to Fauré, delightfully witty Rubies set to Stravinsky, and the illustrious Diamonds set to Tchaikovsky complete an evening of glitz and glamour not to be missed!
