Happy Holidays!!!

This week when I was talking to a neighbor about the holidays, he blurted out, Christmas will be in two weeks. We both agreed that the business of the holidays had creeped into our heads. We also said that was not good, because the holidays (Christmas) are suppose to be a time to just have fun. With that being said, this is what's happening in and around Houston this weekend.  Happy holidays everybody.JWM

Trans-Siberian Orchestra
@Toyota Center

Friday 12/21/2018 3:30 PM & 8:00 PM

This annual holiday traditional tour moves TSO into Houston's Toyota Center with two performances. The orchestra has been doing this for 20-years now.

TSO is excited to celebrate 20 years on the road this winter with an all-new production of ‘The Ghosts of Christmas Eve’ featuring the Best of TSO and more!!

It all started with an idea:
When the late Paul O'Neill first conceived Trans-Siberian Orchestra, his goal was as straightforward as it was incredibly ambitious. "The whole idea," he explains, "was to create a progressive rock band that would push the boundaries (of the genre) further than any group before... Way, way further."

A Christmas Carol
@Alley Theatre
Hubbard Stage

Now  thru December 30, 2018

Houston’s seasonal favorite returns! A Christmas Carol - A Ghost Story of Christmas is a family-friendly re-telling of Charles Dickens’ classic story, which follows Ebenezer Scrooge’s journey with the three ghostly spirits who visit him on Christmas Eve. A Christmas Carol instills a powerful message about redemption and the spirit of the holiday season.

Those who have studied Charles Dickens say this about the British novelist, journalist, editor, illustrator and social commentator who wrote such beloved classic novels as Oliver Twist, Nicholas Nickleby, David Copperfield, A Tale of Two Cities, Great Expectations and of coursed A Christmas Carol.
