[From Lasty FM.com] Isabella Rodriguez Rivera, known professionally as Isabella Lovestory is a Honduran-born Canadian singer-songwriter, DJ, producer and jewellery designer. She is known for her creative lyricism and eclectic and wide range of styles.
Isabella Lovestory - Latina
Rodriguez grew up in Tegucigalpa, Honduras before moving to Burke, Virginia at the age of thirteen. Her mother, Wendy Rivera, is an architect and designed the house in which Isabella grew up in Honduras. Her father, Hector Rodriguez, was a radio show host back in Honduras, exposing Isabella and her younger brother Andrés to different kinds of music ranging from glamorous to grunge. From a young age, Rodriguez was drawn to female pop icons and to the world of prestige these stars would embody. She participated in many talent shows in her youth. "When I was little, I wanted to be like Britney Spears. I was so obsessed." Growing up in Honduras, Rodriguez was also exposed to reggeaton, which remains one of the main influences in her work.
In 2010 Rodriguez and her family moved to Montreal, Canada, where she is still based today. Read more @Last FM.com (Click Here)

[From All Music.com-James Christopher Monger] Linchpins in the fertile gothic metal scene of the 1990s, Portugal's Moonspell became regional favorites with the releases of their first two albums. They took the European continent by storm in 1998 with their chart-topping third effort, Sin/Pecado. Employing a dark and doomy amalgam of steely guitar riffs, lush gothic textures, and harsh yet melodic hooks, the band have continued to find favor both at home and abroad with acclaimed outings like Darkness and Hope (2001), Alpha Noir (2012), and Hermitage (2021).
Moonspell Alma Mater (Live)
Founded in 1992 by vocalist and sole constant member Fernando Ribeiro, Moonspell debuted on Century Media in 1995 with the black metal opus Wolfheart. The well-received Irreligious arrived the following year and saw the band pivot to a more goth-metal aesthetic, a stylistic choice that they would refine on 1998's Sin/Pecado. That LP soared to number one in Portugal and saw chart success in Germany, Finland, and Austria. Recorded in London, 1999's experimental, synth-laden Butterfly Effect was the band's first album to chart in the United States, paving the way for later efforts like Darkness and Hope (2001) and the narrative-driven Antidote (2003). Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with Miller – a Houston tradition!
[From Miller Outdoor Theatre.com] This unique group has dedicated itself to rescuing, preserving, and reinterpreting the sounds of the Mixtec people of Oaxaca with new arrangements of traditional works. They’ve spent years exploring the states of Guerrero, Puebla, Oaxaca and the transnational community to create the perfect sound.
Orquesta Pasatono en concierto
Blending the traditional music with strings, wind instruments, and percussion this group is a cultural delight! Having played venues around the U.S. and Mexico such as the Lincoln Center in New York, the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., the Getty Museum at Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago or recently Stanford to the Center for the Arts in Mexico City, The Henestrosa Library in Oaxaca, and even the fandangos in communities like El Jicaral, Coicoyán de las Flores or Yucuquimi de Ocampo, in Oaxaca, Miller is proud to have them grace our beloved stage during our 100th Anniversary season.

[From All Music.com-Scott Yanow] Since making his leader debut with 1992's Trust, saxophonist and composer Boney James has consistently placed in the Top Three spots on the contemporary jazz charts, though his sound is grittier and more muscular than the genre usually typifies. After multiple Grammy nominations and gold-certified albums, James' meld of soul-jazz, R&B, funk, and pop, and a high-energy live show have come to define the sound of 21st century contemporary jazz. Albums such as 1999's Body Language, 2004's Pure, and 2015's Futuresoul have influenced an entire generation of artists. His success continued with 2017's chart-topping Honestly and 2020's Solid, which hit number ten on the pop charts. James delivered his 18th album, Detour, in 2022.
Boney James - Sara Smile
Born James Oppenheim, he grew up in New Rochelle, New York, and studied clarinet when he was eight, switching to saxophone two years later; his playing of the instrument began to show the heavy influence of Grover Washington, Jr. When he was 15, his family moved to Los Angeles. James was soon playing in a fusion band (Line One) that was strong enough to open for Flora Purim and the Yellowjackets. After a year attending UC Berkeley, he transferred to UCLA so he could continue playing with the band. He earned a degree in history but became a full-time musician after graduation, doubling on keyboards.
In 1985, James went on the road as a keyboardist with Morris Day, and eventually convinced Day that he should be playing saxophone instead. He spent four years with Day and became an in-demand guest musician on tenor, alto, soprano, and flute, playing with Randy Crawford, Sheena Easton, the Isley Brothers, Bobby Caldwell, and others.
