This weekend (Friday 6/28/2019) Patrick Monahan (lead vocals), Luis Maldonado (guitar), Hector Maldonado (bass, vocals), Jerry Becker (keyboards, guitar), Sakai Smith (backup vocals), and Nikita Houston of Train make their way The Woodlands. Drummer Drew Shoals left the band in January of this year to return to practicing law with Matt Musty joining the band for this summer tours.
This tour is centered around the band releasing its Greatest Hits album. This tour started months ago and recently the guys played Phonix, AZ.

The musical chronicles the life and music of crooner and native Washingtonian (DC) Marvin Gaye and how his love affair with the Motown founder, Barry Gordy’s older sister, Anna Gordy Gaye, changed music history forever.
The play was in Chicago, ILL last weekend, it makes its way to The Wortham Center this weekend (June 26th-30th, 2019).
“This story speaks a lot on the emotion of Marvin Gaye and his love affair with music and how that all coincides with his love affair with Anna Gordy Gaye, and how it changed the world musically, because that relationship, within itself, changed the paradigm of music so to speak,” Chae Stephen, who plays the older Marvin Gaye in the musical said to AFRO.com, the Washington DC black newspaper.
The play was in the Washington DC area a the National Theatre the early part of May 2019.

The Alley Theatre this summer is presenting Ken Ludwig's The Three Musketeers on their Hubbard Stage. The theatre groups closes out their 20118-19 season with this production. The performances start May 31st through June 30th, 2019.
Ludwig a prolific playwright has created numerous works and has earned two Olivier Awards, three Tony Award nominations, two Tony Awards, two Helen Hayes Awards, the Edgar Award, the Edwin Forest Award, the Pennsylvania Governor's Award for Excellence in the Arts and an honorary doctorate from York University. In 2014, Ludwig won a Falstaff Award for his book "How to Teach Your Children Shakespeare" in the category of "Best Book, Publication, or Recording".
Ludwig on his web portal describes his adaptation, which was commissioned by the Bristol Old Vic in England, is based on the timeless swashbuckler by Alexandre Dumas, a tale of heroism, treachery, close escapes and above all, honor.
