Born Baraka Ongari in Pennsylvania, Binki initially became interested in acting as a teenager. After high school, he studied theater at the University of North Carolina. It was there that he taught himself how to play guitar. He eventually began writing songs, drawing upon an array of influences, including Childish Gambino, Pink Floyd, Tyler, The Creator, 
and David Bowie, among others. He began posting them online and in 2018 released the song "Marco" on streaming services. It gained him a following and helped land him a label deal with Fader. In 2021, he released his debut EP Motor Function, which included the singles "Clay Pigeon" and "Landline," the latter of which appeared in the video game FIFA 22. Binki kicked off 2023 with the singles "Hotel Window" and "Rocket Ship" ahead of the arrival of his sophomore EP, Antennae, later that year. Read more @All Music.com (Click Here)
