Country pop music fans will enjoy this long Labor Day weekend starting Thursday, August 29th at the Smart Financial Center, its Rasc
al Flatts. The band had a great performance this past July on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live. (See video).
It's lead vocalist Gary LeVox, his second cousin Jay DeMarcus on bass guitar, and Joe Don Rooney on guitar and banjo. DeMarcus is also a brother-in-law of country music singer James Otto, and formerly one-half of the Christian music duo East to West.

Carlos Rivera rose to fame by winning the third generation of La Academia. La Academia (The Academy) is a Mexican reality musical talent 
show on Azteca Spanish language television. Rivera makes his way to Houston's Arena Theatre this weekend, Friday, August 30th, 2019.Rivera has since released four studio albums and participated in numerous theatre productions.
For the next two years, more than a million people saw Rivera in the role of Simba. He sold out approximately 700 shows at the Lope de Vega Theater on the famous Gran Via de Madrid, and won Best New Actor at the 2012 Broadway World Spain Awards.
